KAS TUR KUSTAS
A family participatory performance with elements of a walking.
Every city has a place where creatures and beings that live in a completely different way than we are used to seeing in everyday life meet. They make sounds, move, talk, walk, and look as if they are not from this planet. However, quite the opposite is true – they are creatures of Earth. If you lean in and look and listen to the life of trees, bushes, leaves, rivers, stones, and grass, you will see movement. What is moving there? Can you feel it? How did we, all gathered in the forest, suddenly become part of this movement? Only together will we understand what lies behind it all.
Shh! (whispers) Let's meet at the right time and place, and together!
The performance was created in collaboration with the Liepāja Puppet Theater.
Venue – ravine by the Rāte River (behind the Valmiera Theater, Lāčplēša Street 4).
